I could say a lot if I were to share my experiences during the last war that my country had in 1998/99 just that itself could be a separate book, I was only six years old but the memories are still there, I am a survivor, I remember everything.
I was born on 12 of July 1991 in a city called Pejë located on the west side of Kosovo, I was only six when we had to leave our home and walk towards Montenegro to save our heads, me my mom and my two older sisters made it to Montenegro walking together with other people who had to leave their homes for the same reason, leave or get killed.
I won’t share much about my war experience, I just want to state that I will forever be thankful and grateful to a family in a village called Rozaje and another family in a village called Vladimir for hosting us in their homes and taking care of us.
After the war finished we came back to our free country after spending three months as refugees in Montenegro. A new life started for me and my family, I started playing football, started school, and so on, but life became hard I was going through hurdles in this new life as it was hard for me and my two older sisters being raised by a single mother. When we fled the city our father stayed, only when we came back to Kosovo we heard that my father had fallen in the war, a martyr.
As a little boy I fell in love with football anytime I entered that green pitch it would feel great I loved it and I still do, even nowadays sometimes in my spare time I go to play football with friends, I kept playing football until I became sixteen then I had to quit because I started working.
I started my first job, as a waiter, most of my jobs were in restaurants, after quitting the last job as a waiter an American friend of mine who was a missionary in Kosovo offered to hire me to teach him the Albanian language and I accepted it, it was a good job I was helping him improve, he had taken a course previously but still did not feel confident, I was only helping him a little bit.
After that I started a new job as an operator in a CNC machine, meanwhile, I was working there I took an online course: Digital Marketing (Tai Lopez’s SMMA 3.0), I liked the course, and what I learned there Tai is a great mentor you can learn a lot from him.
In my last job where I was working as a CNC operator, I had to quit because my former employer asked me to get out and work on Sundays too, and I said NO, more or less all jobs were like this one and I had to quit for similar reasons.
After quitting my last job I realized this can’t go on forever like this get hired work for three to six months somewhere and then have to quit, most of the time quitting the job was kind of forced.
From there onwards I thought I have to start doing something myself, “True maturity only comes when you finally realize that no one is coming to the rescue.” I am quoting a part of Brian Tracy’s book “Maximal Achievement”.
This book got me to think more about myself and the reality I was in, I heard a spiritual Guru on YouTube saying: “People manifest their beliefs, not their desires”. I realized that something had to change within me. “You must be willing to let go of the old person in order to become the new person.” is another quote from Brian Tracy’s book, “Maximal Achievement.”
Most affiliates on this page would try to share how successful they are in this business or how successful they were in their careers before starting affiliate marketing as a side hustle.
I cannot say even that because I am just starting out as an affiliate and previously I have quit over twenty jobs, maybe more; I stopped counting at twenty.
Why Affiliate Marketing? Many reasons. The most important thing is that this is not a big upfront investment; second, you don’t need your own product; you promote other people’s products or services and get commissions based on sales or recommendations.
It’s not as easy as it sounds. If you can generate eye-catching content about the products or services that you promote and put it into good traffic, you can create a good passive income, which means freedom and financial freedom.
I have tried to touch briefly on most parts of my life and what I have been through before starting this; I know I have shared pretty parts of the book “Maximal Achievement” by Brian Tracy, but it did have an impact on me, and if you read it, I believe it is going to have an impact on you too.
Thank you for reading!
